Terantula designs, installs and maintains VoIP (Voice over IP) systems. With VoIP the existing network infrastructure can be used with little or no changes for telephony. Many standard or special configurations can be built using open source PBX software like Asterisk.
Normal configurations include voicemail, call groups, hunt groups and call forwarding.
Special configurations include international links between PBX systems using standard TCP/IP connectivity (e.g. ADSL), use of alternative VoIP providers for cost-effectiveness or redundancy, use of 'company' telephone numbers for home workers (with or without VPN).
Besides consultancy, Terantula is reseller for various brands of VoIP equipment like Polycom, GrandStream and Digium.
